Most events will consist of a parade of Armed Forces veterans, civic dignitaries and religious officials followed by a service and two-minute silence at 11am. Residents are invited to join their local commemoration of British and Commonwealth soldiers, sailors, airmen and women as well as the members of the emergency services and civilians to ensure that no-one is forgotten.
